Neurix Documentation

Technical documentation for the Neurix Layer 1 blockchain. Neurix is a Cosmos SDK-based Layer 1 with CometBFT consensus, native IBC support, and modular architecture.

Wallet Setup

Keplr Extension

Install Keplr browser extension
Click "Add Chain" → "Custom"
Enter Neurix chain details from Quickstart
Save and select Neurix in wallet

Leap Wallet

Install Leap browser extension
Settings → Manage Chains → Add Custom Chain
Enter chain details and save

Join as Validator

Requirements

4+ CPU, 8GB+ RAM, 200GB+ SSD
Stable internet connection (100Mbps+)
Domain name for RPC/API endpoints

Steps

State Sync

For fast synchronization, use state sync:

Upgrades

Software upgrades are coordinated via on-chain governance proposals. When an upgrade proposal passes:

Download new binary
Stop node: systemctl stop neurixd
Replace binary: cp new_neurixd /usr/local/bin/neurixd
Start node: systemctl start neurixd

Node will automatically pause at upgrade height and wait for new binary.
